John Eberhart 


Specializing in auditing, consulting, and valuation, John has extensive experience with mergers & acquisitions, financial modeling, and internal control and fraud evaluations.

Throughout his career, John has worked with diverse companies, ranging from small closely-held businesses to large international publicly traded companies, primarily in the manufacturing and retail sectors. Before joining Cassady Schiller in 2010, he spent several years serving in the controller and financial reporting roles at Totes Isotoner Corporation and Convergys Corporation. John began his career with Ernst & Young, where he worked for 10 years serving clients in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dusseldorf, Germany.


John has extensive experience with compensation and employee benefit plans. This includes audits of defined contribution, defined benefit, health and welfare, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), and advising clients on the restructuring of long-term incentive plans. Drawing from his prior experience in public accounting and as a controller, John enjoys working with his clients to find practical solutions to complex accounting, valuation, and transaction issues.


John graduated from Thomas More College with a major in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). John served as treasurer of St. Thomas Boosters (2008-2012), finance committee member (2007-2016), and summer festival co-chair for St. Thomas Parish (2009-2016). John is currently the treasurer of the Fort Thomas Lions Club and a member of the finance committee at Life Learning Center.
