Lydia Ritze

Lydia has been with Cassady Schiller since February 2017, primarily performing assurance services for privately-held companies and employee benefit plans and providing various consulting services to publicly and privately-held companies. Prior to Cassady Schiller, Lydia was with Grant Thornton LLP, a global CPA and advisory firm, for over 11 years. During her time at Grant Thornton, Lydia’s focus was managing the financial statement and ICFR audits and reviews of public companies, private equity-owned companies, family-owned companies, not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans. The industries she has worked with include manufacturing, retail, real estate and construction, financial and professional services,

foundations, and social services.

Lydia has a hands-on approach with her clients and works closely with them to identify and research technical issues. Lydia’s experience includes assisting her clients with the accounting and financial reporting for the following complex transactions: initial public offerings, private placement bond offerings, adoption of new accounting pronouncements including revenue recognition and leases, significant acquisitions in the U.S. and various foreign locations, debt

modifications, restructuring activities, and goodwill impairments.

Lydia graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy. She is a Certified Public Accountant with over 17 years of experience in public accounting.
