Lydia Ritze, CPA
Lydia has been with Cassady Schiller since February 2017. Prior to that, she was with Grant Thornton LLP, a global CPA and advisory firm, for over 11 years. During her time at Grant Thornton, Lydia’s focus was managing the financial statement and ICFR audits and reviews of public companies, private equity owned companies, family owned companies, not-for-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. The industries she has worked with include manufacturing, retail, real estate and construction, professional services, foundations, and social services.
Lydia has a hands-on approach with her clients and works closely with them to identify and research technical issues. Lydia’s experience includes assisting her clients with the accounting and financial reporting for the following complex transactions: initial public offerings, private placement bond offerings, adoption of new accounting pronouncements including revenue recognition, significant acquisitions in the U.S. and various foreign locations, debt modifications, restructuring activities, and goodwill impairments.
Lydia graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy. She is a Certified Public Accountant with 15 years of experience in public accounting.
Lydia is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). She is Past Treasurer and Audit Committee Chair of Healthy Moms & Babes.
