
Brian’s focus is on all things tax, including planning, compliance, and research for businesses and individuals. He has extensive experience in the areas of estate and gift planning, mergers and acquisitions, exit and succession planning, investment real estate transactions, and state and local taxation.
In addition to his tax expertise, Brian is also well-versed in accounting and auditing, enabling him to provide services beyond tax compliance and consulting. Brian became a partner at Cassady Schiller in 2006 after joining the firm in 1992.
Brian graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati, which he attended on a full academic scholarship. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree, Brian sat for the CPA exam and passed all sections in his first attempt. He later returned to his alma mater and obtained his Master of Science in Taxation.
In 2015, Brian was recognized as one of the Top 10 Accounting Professionals in Ohio by the National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). Brian serves on the Elder High School Alumni Board of Governors and is a member of the finance committee for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Cincinnati. In addition, Brian is on the Fundraising Committee for the Endowed Scholarship Fund of Elder High School.
