Janie joined Cassady Schiller in June 2007. She specializes in serving and facilitating the business, tax, and estate planning needs of owners, operators, and developers of commercial and multi-family real estate and high net worth individuals. She uses a team approach, working closely with attorneys, financial advisors, insurance agents, and actuaries.
Janie has over 20 years of combined experience in public and industry accounting, working in tax, accounting, audit, and consulting services in Ohio and Kentucky. Her expertise varies widely, from the banking industry to governmental entities, and includes real estate, manufacturing, retail, entertainment, non-profit organizations and foundations, small businesses, high net worth individuals, and trusts.
Janie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association (GCNKAA), and the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council. She also serves on the Mercy Health Foundation Board of Directors and is the Treasurer for the Apartment Association Outreach Board of Directors.
