Bob is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 37 years of experience in public accounting. Early in his career, he was involved in all areas of taxation, assisting both publicly and privately owned businesses. With a desire to focus on private and family-owned companies, and the tax complexities that the owners had to navigate, Bob turned his attention exclusively to the local and regional businesses headquartered in the tri-state area. In 1990, Cassady Schiller was formed to fulfill that desire.
In the last 30 years at Cassady Schiller, Bob has expanded his expertise to include taxation of high net worth individuals and gift, estate, and trust taxation. Bob has overseen a tremendous growth in the number of estate and trust clients served at Cassady Schiller during that time.
Bob graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Xavier University, where he also earned his Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in taxation.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and the Goering Center for Family and Private Business. He has served as the past President and Treasurer of the Board of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Currently, Bob serves on the Board of Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.
